The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor . So for next a/c refrigerant pressure sensor 'b', circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01160 Possible Causes:
01160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01160 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
