The problem is about data bus engine/engine, software condition monitoring the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles starter activation, return message terminal 50, implausible signal also torque management feedback signal "b", high is the final reason of the code. |
01160 Possible Causes:
01160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01160 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
