The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground or fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01159 Possible Causes:
01159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 01159 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
