The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 2, circuit high . So for next evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open is the final reason of the code. |
01158 Possible Causes:
01158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01158 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
