When you open intake air heater "a", circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner control, default not reached or injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01157 Possible Causes:
01157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01157 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
