The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit intermittent . On the other hand throttle actuator control system, sudden high air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
01156 Possible Causes:
01156 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01156 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump load air cooling (j536), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
