01156 Description And Summary : |

When you open exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at upper limit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high and activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01156 Possible Causes:
01156 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01156 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
