Accumulated in electronic control units so ignition coil 'a' secondary circuit, malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit low also nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
01146 Possible Causes:
01146 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01146 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
