This code were stamped on VW Engine case starter interlock, circuit open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit high you can see the cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical will delay your vw fault. |
01144 Possible Causes:
01144 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01144 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
