Diagnosing engine bar with valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low and signal 'door up' not recognized is the final reason of the code. |
01142 Possible Causes:
01142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01142 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
