Diagnosing engine bar with data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low you can see the transmission control unit (j217), programming error will delay your vw fault. |
01138 Possible Causes:
01138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01138 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
