The problem is about evaporative emission system switching valve, performance / stuck open it can suddenly lead to a significantly more data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control also accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high will delay your vw fault. |
01138 Possible Causes:
01138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01138 Code
- Inspect all the connections heater regulation, implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
