Diagnosing engine bar with engine coolant level low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction . On the other hand valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
01122 Possible Causes:
01122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01122 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
