This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low . On the other hand exhaust bank 3, probe 1 no activity is the final reason of the code. |
01122 Possible Causes:
01122 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01122 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
