The problem is about valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high . So for next bank 2, system too rich at idle is the final reason of the code. |
01121 Possible Causes:
01121 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01121 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
