The problem is about turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
01117 Possible Causes:
01117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 01117 Code
- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
