01116 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3, probe 1 signal too slowly it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, forced limited power or change cylinder 7 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
01116 Possible Causes:
01116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01116 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
