Diagnosing engine bar with engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. also secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
01116 Possible Causes:
01116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 01116 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
