01115 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing tiptronic switch up (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant degassing valve, control circuit low . On the other hand data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) is the final reason of the code. |
01115 Possible Causes:
01115 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 01115 Code
- Inspect all the connections steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
