The problem is about intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit or change turbocharger control module, faulty is the final reason of the code. |
01109 Possible Causes:
01109 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01109 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
