This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean and wait then data bus powertrain, missing message for central electric controller will delay your vw fault. |
01108 Possible Causes:
01108 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01108 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for coolant additive pump (j496), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
