The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible or intake air heater "a", circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01102 Possible Causes:
01102 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 01102 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, rich limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
