01101 Description And Summary : |

When you open reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 1, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ you can see the engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
01101 Possible Causes:
01101 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01101 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature, bank 1 sensor 1, out of range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
