01099 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine data bus powertrain, missing message from control module level control to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
01099 Possible Causes:
01099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01099 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
