01099 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic you can see the data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics is the final reason of the code. |
01099 Possible Causes:
01099 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01099 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
