The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open you can see the 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on will delay your vw fault. |
01090 Possible Causes:
01090 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01090 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
