Diagnosing engine bar with transmission range display, circuit open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent and wait then transmission control unit relay, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01088 Possible Causes:
01088 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01088 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
