This code were stamped on VW Engine case linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor injector cylinder 16 (n393), circuit low and valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
01086 Possible Causes:
01086 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01086 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
