01085 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), open or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure regulator, circuit low and valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input is the final reason of the code. |
01085 Possible Causes:
01085 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01085 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
