The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit . On the other hand supply voltage for fuel injector group b, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01079 Possible Causes:
01079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01079 Code
- Inspect all the connections direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
