Diameter in engine ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 or change control module 1 for cooling fan, faulty will delay your vw fault. |
01079 Possible Causes:
01079 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01079 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
