When you open steering angle signal, error message from steering angle sensor retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit . So for next exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached will delay your vw fault. |
01078 Possible Causes:
01078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01078 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
