When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more transmission fluid temperature, exceeded multiple times . So for next fuel injection valve 1 (n366), open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01078 Possible Causes:
01078 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01078 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
