Staring in engine glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation also ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
01073 Possible Causes:
01073 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01073 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
