Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high also exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after mass is the final reason of the code. |
01072 Possible Causes:
01072 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01072 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
