The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded and intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature will delay your vw fault. |
01072 Possible Causes:
01072 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01072 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
