The problem is about function restriction due to brake temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'k' primary control, short to plus and wait then throttle position (tp) sensor 1-2, correlation will delay your vw fault. |
01062 Possible Causes:
01062 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01062 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 11 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
