01061 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing control unit programming communication error mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck rich or 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
01061 Possible Causes:
01061 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 01061 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
