Staring in engine diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, short to b+ and wait then reductant injection valve circuit range / performance, bank 2 unit 1 is the final reason of the code. |
01048 Possible Causes:
01048 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 01048 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
