This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1 or change supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
01044 Possible Causes:
01044 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 01044 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
