Staring in engine exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached or exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01038 Possible Causes:
01038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01038 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of adr control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
