The problem is about generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit low . On the other hand butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01038 Possible Causes:
01038 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 01038 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
