01036 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance or change idle speed control throttle position, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
01036 Possible Causes:
01036 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01036 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel shutoff valve "b" control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
