The problem is about data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high and wait then exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
01033 Possible Causes:
01033 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01033 Code
- Inspect all the connections manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
