Diameter in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, no activity retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high or friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
01030 Possible Causes:
01030 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01030 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from brake control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
