01029 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open and relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
01029 Possible Causes:
01029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01029 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
