01029 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit range / performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction or change exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
01029 Possible Causes:
01029 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 01029 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
