When you open secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high or fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
01028 Possible Causes:
01028 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 01028 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
