01024 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake starter interlock, circuit open and wait then exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' low is the final reason of the code. |
01024 Possible Causes:
01024 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01024 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
