The problem is about o2 sensor signals swapped, bank 1 sensor 3 - /bank 2 sensor 3 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich and wait then secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01023 Possible Causes:
01023 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01023 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
