When you open accelerator position sensor 1/2 (g79) / (g185), implausible signal causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus or intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed will delay your vw fault. |
01017 Possible Causes:
01017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01017 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
