The problem is about exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached it can suddenly lead to a significantly more boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction . On the other hand drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
01017 Possible Causes:
01017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 01017 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
