This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake torque management feedback signal "a", high and b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01017 Possible Causes:
01017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 01017 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
