Accumulated in electronic control units so evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), no signal also fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
01016 Possible Causes:
01016 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01016 Code
- Inspect all the connections rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
