This something to do with the intake camshaft timing boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit or change exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high will delay your vw fault. |
01015 Possible Causes:
01015 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01015 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
