This something to do with the intake camshaft timing system too lean at higher load, bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit and coolant degassing valve, control circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01015 Possible Causes:
01015 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 01015 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, performance or stuck off
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
