Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner control, upper stop not reached the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical or sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low will delay your vw fault. |
01014 Possible Causes:
01014 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01014 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
