When you open ignition coil 'e' primary control, short to plus It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean or relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
01010 Possible Causes:
01010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 01010 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message from combi instrument
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
