The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor generator shut-off, open or short to ground or 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
01009 Possible Causes:
01009 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01009 Code
- Inspect all the connections egr system, regulation range not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
