The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant degassing valve, control circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage . On the other hand o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
01008 Possible Causes:
01008 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01008 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
