01006 Description And Summary : |

This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission faulty the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground you can see the charge pressure fan relay (j712), open is the final reason of the code. |
01006 Possible Causes:
01006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01006 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the awd control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
