01004 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reversing light, circuit short to ground . On the other hand ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
01004 Possible Causes:
01004 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 01004 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel supply heater, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
