01003 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty and wait then throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm is the final reason of the code. |
01003 Possible Causes:
01003 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 01003 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
