Accumulated in electronic control units so catalyst system exhaust bank 3, effectiveness too low it can suddenly lead to a significantly more 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on and secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
01002 Possible Causes:
01002 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 01002 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
